A Picture-Perfect Day for the 8th Annual Johnny Forrest Golf Tournament!

Following on the heels of an unforgettable week at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show, the team at Wheatland Farm barely had time to catch their breath before teeing up for the 8th Annual Johnny Forrest Golf Tournament—held today at the beautiful Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg, Virginia.

Despite yesterday’s soaking rain, today dawned bright and clear—just the way Johnny would have wanted it. Seventy-two golfers took to the course under sunny skies and a gentle breeze, kicking off the day with a stirring send-off by Irish tenor Mark Forrest at the 10:00 AM shotgun start.

The course was alive with energy and generosity thanks to our incredible sponsors. Players enjoyed treats, giveaways, and swag at holes hosted by Raising Cane’s, Ken P. Childers Law, One Life Fitness, TART Lumber, and more. The longest hole on the course became a thrill ride thanks to the Golf Cannon, and the T.M. Wealth Management trivia table brought out everyone’s competitive spirit—with gift cards, golf rounds at Creighton Farms, and other fun prizes up for grabs.

By the end of the round, the winning team finished an impressive 18 under par. Inside the clubhouse, lucky raffle winners went home with fabulous gift baskets generously donated by local businesses. Spirits were high, laughter was plentiful, and nearly everyone vowed to return next year—with a friend or two in tow.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Raspberry Golf Management, the tireless team at Wheatland Farm, our sponsors, and of course, the incredible community of golfers who make this event such a joy year after year.

Johnny was with us in spirit today. And on behalf of all the very special children and families we serve—thank you, God bless your generosity, and we’ll see you next year!
