Brilliant end to a brilliant year!

The last two weeks of December were great at Wheatland Farm. Following quickly on the heels of our 2022 Gala Dinner, we welcomed 28 riders ( a correction from the last post!) to our final Boyd Martin clinic of 2022.

Within days, we hosted a record number of riders to our in-house schooling dressage show, with more than forty tests ridden from adaptive dressage, to para dressage and our traditional dressage classes. Our judge was wowed by the quality of the rides and the huge effort put in by our students. The winner of the para-dressage was Dr. Lois Haid, the winner of the traditional division was Michael Sadler, and the winner of the adaptive Wheatland Farm Special division was Maisie Eastman. Overall, every rider had improved on their scores from our last show in November, and we are now preparing for our return to shows in January. These in-house schooling shows are preparing our riders to show in our large outdoor show arena in March and at local schooling and recognized shows in our region in spring.

Our final event of the year was our Christmas Party & Student Celebration. It truly was a brilliant end to a brilliant year! Plan on joining us at one of our many events in 2023, and in the meantime, sit back, relax and enjoy the video. Love from us all!
