Memories from the course!

-Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club, Leesburg, VA: The 2020 Johnny Forrest Golf Classic was another outstanding success! Thanks to the generosity of our major donors, this year's tourney raised in excess of $55,000 was for Wheatland Farm's programs and services for children and adults with disabilties.

In spite of the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Willy Lutz and his staff at Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club ran a marvelous event for Wheatland Farm. The weather could not have been more perfect. A cool breeze with balmy 75 degree air temperatures kept almost 60 golfers comfortable and energized, as they relished the outstanding Gary Player course. Wegmans of Leesburg generously sponsored a delicious boxed lunch, and cheerful attendants buzzed about the course, offering snacks and beverages to golfers as they made their way around. Following a wonderful day of play, a safely executed and delicious dinner was provided both inside and outside the Raspberry Falls club house. Participants heard from members of Faith & Family's Board of Trustees, as well as Wheatland Farm's Executive Director. Finally, the evening was rounded out with awards and a musical treat by Irish Tenor Mark Forrest. A great day was had by all, and most importantly, critical funds were raised for children and adults with disabilities at Wheatland Farm. For those who could not golf at this year's tournament, donations can still be made to Wheatland Farm's programs and services HERE.

Of course, Wheatland Farm's next, and arguably most exciting event of the year is still to come ... the 2020 Wheatland Farm Gala

December 5, at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg. Mark your calendar and plan to join us at the gala -- or next year for our 2021 Johnny Forrest Golf Classic!
