Wheatland Farm was deeply honored to join First Lady of Virginia Suzanne Youngkin, Secretary of Agriculture Matt Lohr, and the award-winning team at King Family Vineyards yesterday for the unveiling of Cornus Virginicus IV!
A vision of the First Lady’s, this annually curated blend not only celebrates the excellence of Virginia’s wine industry, but also embodies the spirit of giving back—each year supporting a Virginia nonprofit making a difference in the lives of others.
This year, we are truly humbled and profoundly grateful to be selected as the beneficiary of this extraordinary initiative. Our heartfelt thanks to the First Lady and her team for their generosity, to Secretary Lohr for his leadership, and to the King Family Vineyards team for their hospitality and commitment to community.

Ralph Lauren Fall 2025 Collection Cocktail Reception Friday, October 10, 2025
Saks Fifth Avenue hosted a beautiful private cocktail reception on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Designer on 2 in Saks Chevy Chase, celebrating Wheatland Farm and showcasing the Ralph Lauren Fall 2025 Women’s Collection. The First Lady of Virginia, Ms. Joy Ballard of Saks, and Mr. Mike Cohen of Ralph Lauren Inc. were extraordinarily gracious, welcoming Wheatland Farm’s team—including Dolly Gaiser, her mother Ruthie, her aunts, and her older sister—with warmth and kindness. After a magical runway presentation, guests mingled with the impeccably styled models, enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and shopped in support of Dolly and her friends.
During the evening, Ms. Ballard invited Executive Director Muriel Forrest to share Wheatland Farm’s mission of serving children and adults with disabilities, encouraging everyone to “shop for a cause.” Saks committed to donating 10% of sales throughout the weekend (up to $5,000) to benefit Wheatland Farm, and by night’s end many new friends had joined our community of supporters. We are humbled and deeply grateful for this elegant evening of generosity, partnership, and purpose.
