Team USA : Accepted!

As we celebrate Labor Day here in the U.S., our Para Dressage team riders are 3,800 miles away in Paris, preparing to represent our country at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

Today, they completed their first veterinary inspection ahead of tomorrow’s dressage competition, which begins at 3:00 AM Eastern / 9:00 AM Paris time. We are delighted to say that ALL Team USA horses passed their veterinary inspection, and are now ACCEPTED for the 2024 Paralympic Games!

In the Individual medal phase, our Grades 1, 2, and 3 riders—Roxanne Trunnell, Fiona Howard, and Becca Hart—will take to the ring in Versailles to compete for individual rankings within their respective grades. On Wednesday morning, Kate Shoemaker will represent the U.S. in Grade 4. The team dressage tests are scheduled for September 6, followed by the Freestyles for qualified riders on September 7.

As the week progresses, we’ll be sharing updates on the team’s progress in Paris. Today, as you enjoy Labor Day and celebrate our great country, we ask you to raise a glass to our Paralympians and their incredible horses across the pond as they proudly carry the Stars and Stripes at the Palace of Versailles. Go Team USA, and God bless America!
